What do trips, the cinema and management have in common? As Martin likes to say, all three send us to different universes while creating for us outstanding opportunities for transformation.
First as an instructor in customer service and manager for Société des casinos du Québec, then as a research professional at HEC Montreal’s CETO (Centre d’études en transformation des organisations) and organizational development consultant for a major financial institution, Martin Veillette now has over 10 years of experience to his credit. At the same time, he taught management and change management courses at HEC Montréal in 2004 and 2005. Drawn by the international scene and the special relationships of trust that can be formed there during such situations, he was a volunteer advisor for CESO during a voluntary cooperation mission in Dakar, Senegal. Since 2007, Martin has been a judge at the Mouvement québécois de la qualité for the Grands prix québécois de la qualité (GPQQ). Special thanks go to Café Méliès in Complexe Ex-Centris, which allowed us to take the photograph in this unique setting located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal.
