Céline Bareil, Ph. D.

Céline Bareil has a PhD. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is a professor at HEC Montréal. As a researcher associated with HEC Montréal’s Centre d’études en Transformation des organisations (CETO), she looks into change management, the development of transformation projects and individuals’ concerns in situations involving organizational change. Céline is especially known for the very high quality of her research and her activities involving the phases of preoccupations model, a very powerful and innovative change management tool. She authored the best-seller Gérer le volet humain du changement [Managing the Human Side of Change], for which she won the Roger-Charbonneau prize for the best pedagogical book of 2005 at HEC Montréal and the best business book of 2005 in human resource management.
